Paul Barrish put away his flight jacket in 1981, after 26 years as a Navy pilot and intelligence officer. But when he and his wife moved to The Terraces of Los Gatos in Los Gatos, Calif., four years ago, he took an active role in the Silicon Valley chapter of an organization that he’d been part of for many years: Military Officers Association of America (MOAA).
