Pamela Bancroft
Sales, Marketing & Community Relations Director
The Terraces of Los Gatos
Pam joined the marketing staff of The Terraces in 1993 as community relations manager. She has since played a major role in making The Terraces a valuable asset for the Town of Los Gatos and surrounding area.
Pam believes that a vital retirement means continued engagement with the greater community, so she nurtures relationships and plans special events that attract people to The Terraces and engage residents beyond the campus. Pam has a strong commitment to the wider community. She served on the Monte Serreno city council from 1992-1996, including a term as mayor.
Today, Pam manages the marketing department. She is also an elected member of The Terraces Board of Advisors, on which she serves as secretary.
Born in Boston, Pam grew up an "East Coaster" and lived in Lenox, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra called Tanglewood. College years were spent at the University of Connecticut. After graduation, she married and settled in upstate New York, where she worked for New York Bell Telephone. Due to her husband's high tech jobs, they moved several times further west, finally settling in Northern California.
After having two children, the family moved to Taipei, Taiwan, where her husband was general manager of the ITT plant. They stayed there three years, enjoying the environment. Upon returning to the U.S., Pam raised her children, then was hired by ABHOW.
